Trelai Primary School

Thinking and learning today to help us all tomorrow.

Friends of Trelai / Ffrindiau Trelai

WELCOME TO FRIENDS OF TRELAI

Croeso i Ffrindiau Trelai

Parents are always keen to know how they can make a difference to their child's education. Every parent/carer of a child at Trelai Primary School is already "a friend of Trelai". Throughout the year staff, parents, pupils and friends of the school join together as a community for celebrations, fundraising and community events.

You are warmly welcome to take a full and active role in supporting events, being part of the organisation, lending a hand setting up events and contributing to all that Trelai has on offer for your child and family. We aim to organise events that pupils and parents really want to be part of. These may include Summer and Christmas fairs, Bingo, Film nights, children's discos, sponsored events, fundraising for charity and many more.

We cannot do it on our own, but TOGETHER with your help we can all enjoy and participate in the Trelai community.

All money collected is for our selected fundraising needs and contributions are made to Children in Need, Red Nose Day, Sport Relief and Macmillan Coffee Mornings.

Our latest project is to improve and develop the playground and surrounding areas ensuring they are enjoyable, safe places for children to be.

‘Thank You’

The fundraising  events of the past three years by the ‘Trelai School Community has enabled us to buy things for your children.

We asked thy children what they wanted and they said they wanted shade, playground games and a climbing frame.

All comply with H&S regulations. The climbing frame has a new soft pore surface ensuring safety for the children.

‘Thank you’ for supporting our Summer Fairs, Christmas concerts, Christmas present and Mother’s Day stall, bingo nights, film nights….all the money saved up has now been spent on the children.

We look forward to some fun events in 2020 to start fundraising for a new outdoor sound system as children would like music in the playground at lunchtimes.
